FAQ
Whats included in your hot tub hire?
When your booking is confirmed we will contact you a week before hire to give you a delivery time slot. From here our installers will deliver and site your hot tub in you preferred location. We will fill your hot tub from your water supply, test your water and introduce additives to ensure your tub is both safe and hygienic for use. We will leave you with a suitable supply of water testing strips and additives with full instructions so you can maintain the quality and hygiene of your water throughout your hire. Once your hire is complete we will empty your tub using a high power pump to the nearest drain and sanitize the tub onsite. Please leave the tub full and turned on until we get there so we can do this properly.
What do I need to provide?
You will need a flat level area, 13 amp protected electrical socket within 15 metres of the hot tub location and a mains water supply. We can part fill the hot tub with water from your hot water supply to speed up the heating process. Suitable access is also very important. As these are solid hot tubs they do not bend and can not be lifted due to their weight. We will require clear access 75cm wide with a height clearance of 1.8 metres. We can negotiate some steps and small obstacles but please let us know about them before hand so we can be prepared.
The Orbis measurements are: 74cm x 1.8m This should fit through the standard doorway. Please measure first to avoid disappointment.
What is the best position for my hired hot tub?
A solid, flat level area is best to locate your hot tub. We can locate the tub on grass or decking, however when full our tubs weigh over 900kg and the hirer must take responsibility for any damage caused to these surfaces by the weight.
Do I need to check the water chemicals during my hot tub hire?
When you hire a hot tub from Don’t forget the Towells we will set up your tub. We will then give you instructions, testing equipment and a suitable supply of additives to allow you to maintain the water quality through your hire. We recommend that you test the water 4 times a day during your hot tub hire and top up water and chemicals as required. If you have any issues with the water during your hot tub hire contact us immediately and we will tell you how to fix it.
