Upon confirmation of your booking we will require a £50 non refundable deposit to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your final payment.
Final payments must be made in full before the installation of your hot tub can begin. This can be done by card payment over the phone or in cash on delivery.
If you need to change or cancel your booking please contact us at the earliest opportunity to give us the chance to accommodate any changes you wish to make.
We will arrange a date and time to collect your hot tub at the end of your hire. If we are unable to gain access to collect our property there will be a charge of £50 a day until our property is recovered.
All our hot tubs electrics are tested. Once your tub is set up the hot tub must remain turned on to maintain temperature. Do not remove or alter any electrical components. Do not plug the hot tub into a multi or extension socket.
We do not currently ask customers to pay a damage deposit when hiring a hot tub. We understand accidents do happen and will view any incidents on individual circumstances. However any damage that appears to have been caused through neglect or misuse will be invoiced at the cost of fixing or replacing the damaged equipment. If this invoice is not paid in full we will pursue these monies through a small claims court.
The customer is responsible for ensuring all equipment hired is secure and is returned in the same condition it was delivered. If hiring gazebos you are responsible for lowering them and making them safe in adverse weather. We will provide full instructions on how to do this safely. If you are unable to lower the gazebo yourself contact us and we will lower it for you. There will be a call out charge of £50. If the gazebo is damaged and you have not attempted to lower it or contact us, you will be charged for all repairs.
Don’t forget the Towells will not be held responsible for any damage, injuries or death resulting from the misuse of our hot tubs. We will also not be held responsible for any damage caused by the hot tub to lawns, patios or decking or any water damage to anything whatsoever. It is your responsibility to make sure nothing gets damaged. We can advise you on any possible problems that could arise.
All the times and dates we quote for delivering or collecting the goods are approximate. We will not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If the goods breakdown or stop working, we will determine the problem as soon as possible, after you have reported it to us, and then try to replace them or repair the fault as soon as reasonably possible. If you hire the goods for use in a business , we will not be liable for any indirect loss or any loss of business or profits, savings you expect to make, wages, fees or expenses caused by the goods or any part of them breaking down or stopping working properly.
Limit the time spent when using your hot tub since long exposures at warm temperatures can cause high body temperature. Symptoms may include dizziness, nausea, fainting, drowsiness, and reduced awareness, resulting in possible drowning. Prolonged immersion in a hot tub may be hazardous to your health.
Consult your physician before using your hot tub, especially if you suffer from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, a condition needing medical treatment, pregnant women, infants or the elderly.
Don’t forget the Towells are insured for public liability through “Sharrocks Insurance Services Ltd”
